30/4/10: A third win as Canoe Focus Magazine Photograph of the Month for February 2010, as voted by British Canoe Union paddlesports enthusiasts. Their apprecaition is very encouraging and valued.

20/1/10: See Jonathan Maddock photos in the latest promotional video by top kayak manufacturer PYRANHA ... here. The photos were taken at the 2009 PyranhaFest - a high profile event attracting the best of UK whitewater kayakers to North Wales.

14/8/09: A photograph of the Menai Straits has been shortlisted in the final stage of a UK National competition: Landscape Photographer of the Year 2009.

23/6/09: This photo of a lone surf kayaker at Whitesands beach, St Davids, Pembrokeshire, Wales, won the photo of the month competition in the British Canoe Union's Canoe Focus Magazine.
